Co-Pilot of U.S. Airways Flight 1549 “The Miracle on the Hudson”
Jeff Skiles started flying at the age of 16 and has logged over 23,000 hours in the sky, but only 3 minutes of that time catapulted him into the public eye. It’s been called “The Miracle on the Hudson,” but there was no miracle about it. The safe landing was the result of intense training, preparation, teamwork, organization, and the lessons learned from other pilots’ successes and failures.
